When you're going around town cleaning trash from parks, creeks, and schools; people naturally want to know the reasons behind your actions. If you're there serving community service as a punishment for a crime, it definitely won't be as noble as volunteering (TLDR; thats what PUNT does!).
The number one question I get while conducting/participating in clean ups is just that; "what is this for?" "Who are you with?" "What school is this?" "What did you do?" Well enough is enough.
While I could have taken a more jargon filled approach: "Punt is a community driven youth inspired and founded array of volunteers ranging ages 13-70 independently founded and school sponsored organization that seeks to reduce litter and waste in the larger area of the bay area." I'd rather keep it short and to the point.
